Speaking of Asian food and cooking

Asian cuisine of these regions are usually classified into different categories, based on the styles of regional cuisine and the people and culture. Some of the main categories of Asian food is East Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia, Central Asia and the Middle East. In common usage, however, Asian food (also called Asian cuisine) are particularly South and Southeast Asian cuisine. The countries that make up this region areIndia, China, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Burma, etc.

Chinese food is generally East Asian food, even though China stretches from the Middle East, Asia and Far. Rice is the staple food of most of them from China. In some regions, however, pasta, rice is preferred. Most food is obtained by crushing and boiling, and are cooked in a wok, with very little oil.
